Human BCAR1 ELISA Kit | BCAR1 elisa kit
Human BCAR1 (Breast Cancer Anti Estrogen Resistance 1) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human BCAR1. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and bound by the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Human BCAR1 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Human BCAR1, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human BCAR1. You can calculate the concentration of Human BCAR1 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
BCAR1, or CAS, is an Src (MIM 190090) family kinase substrate involved in various cellular events, including migration, survival, transformation, and invasion (Sawada et al., 2006 [PubMed 17129785]).[supplied by OMIM, May 2009]
Uniprot Description
P130Cas: a docking protein containing multiple protein-protein interaction domains. Plays a central coordinating role for tyrosine-kinase-based signaling related to cell adhesion. Implicated in induction of cell migration. The amino-terminal SH3 domain regulates its interaction with focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and the FAK-related kinase PYK2 and also with tyrosine phosphatases PTP-1B and PTP-PEST. Overexpression confers antiestrogen resistance on breast cancer cells.

Product Notes
The Human BCAR1 bcar1 (Catalog #AAA2503856) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2503856 ELISA Kit recognizes Human BCAR1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BCAR1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
