This Mouse CD10 overexpression lysate was created in HEK293 Cells and intented for use as a Western blot (WB) positive control. Purification of CD10 protein from the overexpression lysate was verified.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
CD10: Thermolysin-like specificity, but is almost confined on acting on polypeptides of up to 30 amino acids. Biologically important in the destruction of opioid peptides such as Met- and Leu-enkephalins by cleavage of a Gly-Phe bond. Able to cleave angiotensin-1, angiotensin-2 and angiotensin 1-9. Involved in the degradation of atrial natriuretic factor (ANF). Displays UV- inducible elastase activity toward skin preelastic and elastic fibers. Inhibited in a dose dependent manner by opiorphin. Belongs to the peptidase M13 family.
Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Protease; EC 3.4.24.11

Product Notes
The MME mme (Catalog #AAA8116469) is a Cell Lysate produced from HEK293 Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 715aa. AAA Biotech's CD10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: Use at an assay dependent dilution. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MME mme for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Tyr52-Trp7 50. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD10, Cell Lysate" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
