Related Product Information for EPO active protein
EPO, also known as erythropoietin, is a member of t the type I cytokine family and is related to thrombopoietin. It is primarily produced in the kidney by a population of fibroblast-like cortical interstitial cells adjacent to the proximal tubules. This protein can be found in the plasma and regulates red cell production by promoting erythroid differentiation and initiating hemoglobin synthesis. It also has neuroprotective activity against a variety of potential brain injuries and anti-apoptotic functions in several tissue types. Recombinant rat Erythropoietin/EPO Protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in HEK293 cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Product Notes

The EPO epo (Catalog #AAA201313) is an Active Protein produced from HEK293 and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 27-192aa. AAA Biotech's Erythropoietin/EPO can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE, Bioactivity. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the EPO epo for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: APPRL IC DSRVLERYIL EAKEAENVTM GCAEGPRLSE NITVPDTKVN FYAWKRMKVE EQAVEVWQGL SLLSEAILQA QALQANSSQP PESLQLHIDK AISGLRSLTS LLRVLGAQKE LMSPPDATQA APLRTLTADT FCKLFRVYSN FLRGKLKLYT GEACRRGDR< H HHHHH>. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Erythropoietin/EPO, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
