Guinea pig Adenylate cyclase type 5 (ADCY5) ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the membrane-bound adenylyl cyclase enzymes. Adenylyl cyclases mediate G protein-coupled receptor signaling through the synthesis of the second messenger cAMP. Activity of the encoded protein is stimulated by the Gs alpha subunit of G protein-coupled receptors and is inhibited by protein kinase A, calcium and Gi alpha subunits. Single nucleotide polymorphisms in this gene may be associated with low birth weight and type 2 diabetes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2010]
Uniprot Description

Product Notes
The Guinea Pig ADCY5 adcy5 (Catalog #AAA7251888) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7251888 ELISA Kit recognizes Guinea Pig ADCY5. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Adenylate cyclase type 5 (ADCY5), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
