Human Forkhead Box Protein O1 ELISA Kit | FOXO1 elisa kit

Human Forkhead Box Protein O1 ELISA Kit

Gene Names
FOXO1; FKH1; FKHR; FOXO1A
Reactivity
Human
Synonyms
Forkhead Box Protein O1; Human Forkhead Box Protein O1 ELISA Kit; FOXO1 elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Reactivity
Human
Specificity
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human FOXO1 and analogues was observed.
Samples
Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces and Urine
Assay Type
Sandwich
Detection Range
31.2 pg/ml - 1000 pg/ml.
Sensitivity
5.0 pg/ml.
Intended Uses
This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic applications! It is intended to be determinated FOXO1 concentrations in Human serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Human FOXO1 antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add FOXO1 and FOXO1 antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of FOXO1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean ×100]
Preparation and Storage
Store all reagents at 2-8 degree C

NCBI Description

This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which are characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined; however, it may play a role in myogenic growth and differentiation. Translocation of this gene with PAX3 has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

FOXO1A: a transcription factor of the forkhead family. A central regulator of metabolism in several cell types. May play an important role in myogenic growth and differentiation, and in the regulation of lipolysis in adipocytes by controlling the expression of adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL), the rate-limiting lipolytic enzyme. Translocation of this gene with PAX3 has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. Contains 1 fork-head domain.

Product Notes

The Human FOXO1 foxo1 (Catalog #AAA023752) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA023752 ELISA Kit recognizes Human FOXO1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Forkhead Box Protein O1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
