Mouse Fatty Acid Binding Protein 3, Muscle and Heart ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The intracellular fatty acid-binding proteins (FABPs) belongs to a multigene family. FABPs are divided into at least three distinct types, namely the hepatic-, intestinal- and cardiac-type. They form 14-15 kDa proteins and are thought to participate in the uptake, intracellular metabolism and/or transport of long-chain fatty acids. They may also be responsible in the modulation of cell growth and proliferation. Fatty acid-binding protein 3 gene contains four exons and its function is to arrest growth of mammary epithelial cells. This gene is a candidate tumor suppressor gene for human breast cancer. Product Notes
The Mouse FABP3 fabp3 (Catalog #AAA013786) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA013786 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse FABP3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Fatty Acid Binding Protein 3, Muscle and Heart, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
