Materials Provided
1. Capture Antibody 1 mg/mL of rabbit anti-Human KLK3/Kallikrein 3 monoclonal antibody (in PBS, pH 7.4). Dilute to a working concentration of 2ug/mL in PBS before coating.
2. Detection Antibody 0.2 mg/mL of mouse anti-Human KLK3/Kallikrein 3 monoclonal antibody conjugated to horseradish-peroxidase (HRP) (in PBS, 50 % HRP-Protector, pH 7.4, store at 4 degree C). Dilute to working concentration of 0.1ug/mL in detection antibody dilution buffer before use.
3. Standard Each vial contains 140 ng of recombinant Human KLK3/Kallikrein 3. Reconstitute with 1 mL detection antibody dilution buffer. After reconstitution, store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C in a manual defrost freezer. A seven-point standard curve using 2-fold serial dilutions in sample dilution buffer, and a high standard of 4000 pg/mL is recommended.

Preparation and Storage
Capture Antibody: Aliquot and store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Detection Antibody: Store at 4 degree C and protect it from prolonged exposure to light for up to 6 months from date of receipt. DO NOT FREEZE!
Standard: Store lyophilized standard at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Aliquot and store the reconstituted Standard at -80 degree C for up to 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

KLK3 (Kallikrein Related Peptidase 3) is a Protein Coding gene. The gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. It encodes a single-chain glycoprotein, a protease that is synthesized in the epithelial cells of the prostate gland and is present in seminal plasma. KLK3, also known as Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), kallikrein-related peptidase 3, Gamma-seminoprotein, is a secreted protein of the glandular kallikrein subfamily of serine proteases. KLK3 contains one peptidase S1 domain. KLK3 is a glycoprotein produced almost exclusively by the prostate gland. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers.
