Materials Provided
1. Capture Antibody 0.3 mg/mL of mouse anti-CALML5 monoclonal antibody. Dilute to a working concentration of 2ug/mL in CBS before coating.
2. Detection Antibody 0.25 mg/mL mouse anti-CALML5 monoclonal antibody conjugated to horseradish-peroxidase (HRP). Dilute to working concentration of 0.25ug/mL in detection antibody dilution buffer before use.
3. Standard Each vial contains 63 ng of recombinant CALML5. Reconstitute with 1 mL detection antibody dilution buffer. After reconstitution, store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C in a manual defrost freezer. A seven-point standard curve using 2-fold serial dilutions in sample dilution buffer, and a high standard of 2ng/mL is recommended.
Preparation and Storage
Capture Antibody: Aliquot and store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Detection Antibody: Protect it from prolonged exposure to light. Aliquot and store at -20 degree C to -80 degree C and for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Standard: Store lyophilized standard at -20 degree C to -80 degree C for up to 6 months from date of receipt. Aliquot and store the reconstituted Standard at -80 degree C for up to 1 month. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Related Product Information for CALML5 elisa pair set
Calmodulin-like protein 5, also known as Calmodulin-like skin protein, CALML5 and CLSP, is a protein which contains fourEF-hand domains. CALML5/CLSP is particularly abundant in the epidermis where its expression is directly related to keratinocyte differentiation. The expression is very low in lung. CALML5/CLSP binds calcium. It may be involved in terminal differentiation of keratinocytes. Coxsackievirus and adenovirus receptor (CAR) is a member of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily and a component of epithelial tight junction. CAR functions as a primary receptor for coxsackievirus B and adenovirus (Ad) infection. CALML5/CLSP is closely related to CAR. The structure and dynamics of human calmodulin-like skin protein CALML5/CLSP have been characterized by NMR spectroscopy. The mobility of CALML5/CLSP has been found to be different for the N-terminal and C-terminal domains. The N-terminal domain is characterized by four stable helices, which experience large fluctuations. This is shown to be due to mutations in the hydrophobic core. The overall N-terminal domain behavior is similar both in the full-length protein and in the isolated domain.

This CALML5 Matched ELISA Antibody Pair Set, Human is a solid phase sandwich ELISA for quantitative determination of Human CALML5. It contains Human CALML5 capture antibody, Human CALML5 detector antibody (HRP) and a highly purified E Coli-expressed recombinant Human CALML5 protein.

Product Notes

The CALML5 (Catalog #AAA8118402) is an ELISA Pair Set and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CALML5, ELISA Pair Set" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
