Actin Beta (ACTb) ELISA Kit | ACTb elisa kit

Actin Beta (ACTb) ELISA Kit

Gene Names
actb; B-actin; beta-actin
Synonyms
Actin Beta (ACTb); Actin Beta (ACTb) ELISA Kit; ACTb elisa kit
Ordering
For Research Use Only!
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity for detection of ACTb. 100% cross-reactivity of ACTb was observed among human, mouse and rat. 94% cross-reactivity was observed between ACTb and ACTa1.
Sequence Length
375
Samples
Tissue homogenates, Cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Due to the 100% homology of the sequence among different species, the kit can be used to detect human, mouse and rat samples
Detection Range
1.56-100ng/mL
Sensitivity
The minimum detectable dose of ACTb is typically less than 0.63ng/mL. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined by adding two standard deviations to the mean optical density value of twenty zero standard replicates and calculating the corresponding concentration.
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ACTb were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ACTb were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Intended Uses
The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of ACTb in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Due to the 100% homology of the sequence among different species, the kit can be used to detect human, mouse and rat samples.
Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for ACTb elisa kit
Principle of the assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to ACTb. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to ACTb. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain ACTb, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of ACTb in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Product Notes

The ACTb (Catalog #AAA2018953) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Actin Beta (ACTb), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
