CFHR1 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human CFHR1 Protein (His tag)
Description: A DNA sequence encoding the human CFHR1 (Q03591) (Met1-Arg330) was expressed with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a secreted protein belonging to the complement factor H protein family. It binds to Pseudomonas aeruginosa elongation factor Tuf together with plasminogen, which is proteolytically activated. It is proposed that Tuf acts as a virulence factor by acquiring host proteins to the pathogen surface, controlling complement, and facilitating tissue invasion. Mutations in this gene are associated with an increased risk of atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2009]
Uniprot Description

Product Notes
The CFHR1 cfhr1 (Catalog #AAA2545451) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Human Cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The recombinant human CFHR1 consists of 323 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 37.2 KDa. It migrates as an approximately 45 KDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CFHR1 cfhr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CFHR1, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
