Related Product Information for CDO1 recombinant protein
Cysteine dioxygenase (CDO1) is a mammalian non-heme iron enzyme that initiates several important metabolic pathways related to pyruvate and several sulfurate compounds including sulfate, hypotaurine and taurine. This protein catalyzes the conversion of L-cysteine to cysteine sulfinic acid (cysteine sulfinate) by incorporation of dioxygen. CDO1 is critical regulator of cellular cysteine concentrations and has an important role in maintaining the hepatic concentration of intracellular free cysteine within a proper narrow range. Recombinant CDO1 protein was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

Product Notes

The Cysteine dioxygenase cdo1 (Catalog #AAA203394) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tag for this protein is His-tag. AAA Biotech's Cysteine dioxygenase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Cysteine dioxygenase cdo1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MRGSHHHHHH GMASMTGGQQ MGRDLYDDDD KDRWGSHMEQ TEVLKPRTLA DLIRILHQLF AGDEVNVEEV QAIMEAYESD PTEWAMYAKF DQYRYTRNLV DQGNGKFNLM ILCWGEGHGS SIHDHTNSHC FLKMLQGNLK ETLFAWPDKK SNEMVKKSER VLRENQCAYI NDSVGLHRVE NISHTEPAVS LHLYSPPFDT CHAFDQR. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cysteine dioxygenase, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
