Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is lessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Uniprot Description
CDK7: a protein kinase of the CDK family. Forms a trimeric complex with cyclin H and MAT1, which functions as a Cdk-activating kinase (CAK). Activates the cyclin-associated kinases CDK1, -2, -4 and -6. An essential component of the transcription factor TFIIH, that is involved in transcription initiation and DNA repair. Serves as a direct link between the regulation of transcription and the cell cycle. Phosphorylates and activates RNA polymerase II, allowing its escape from the promoter and elongation of the transcripts. Involved in cell cycle control and in RNA transcription by RNA polymerase II. Its expression and activity are constant throughout the cell cycle.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Cyclin Dependent Kinase 7 (CDK7), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
