Bovine Atrial natriuretic peptide receptor 2 (NPR2) ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes natriuretic peptide receptor B, one of two integral membrane receptors for natriuretic peptides. Both NPR1 and NPR2 contain five functional domains: an extracellular ligand-binding domain, a single membrane-spanning region, and intracellularly a protein kinase homology domain, a helical hinge region involved in oligomerization, and a carboxyl-terminal guanylyl cyclase catalytic domain. The protein is the primary receptor for C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP), which upon ligand binding exhibits greatly increased guanylyl cyclase activity. Mutations in this gene are the cause of acromesomelic dysplasia Maroteaux type. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description

Product Notes
The Bovine NPR2 npr2 (Catalog #AAA7237072) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA7237072 ELISA Kit recognizes Bovine NPR2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Atrial natriuretic peptide receptor 2 (NPR2), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
