Uniprot Description
APOA4: May have a role in chylomicrons and VLDL secretion and catabolism. Required for efficient activation of lipoprotein lipase by ApoC-II; potent activator of LCAT. Apoa-IV is a major component of HDL and chylomicrons. Synthesized primarily in the intestine and secreted in plasma. Belongs to the apolipoprotein A1/A4/E family.

Product Notes
The APOA4 apoa4 (Catalog #
AAA9422179) is a Recombinant Protein produced from Yeast and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is Full Length, 21-395aa. The Recombinant mouse Apolipoprotein A-IV reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet.
It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of
"Apolipoprotein A-IV, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of
the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always
suggest centrifuging these vials
to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to
opening. Please be advised that
certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an
additional dry ice fee may also be
required.
