Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 7 (ADAM7) Recombinant Protein | ADAM7 recombinant protein
Recombinant Human Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 7 (ADAM7), partial
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the ADAMs family of zinc proteases. These transmembrane proteins play roles in multiple processes including cell signaling, adhesion and migration. The encoded protein lacks protease activity and may play roles in protein-protein interactions and cell adhesion processes including sperm-egg fusion. Mutations in this gene may be involved in the progression of melanoma. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011]
Uniprot Description
May play an important role in male reproduction including sperm maturation and gonadotrope function. This is a non catalytic metalloprotease-like protein ().

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 7 (ADAM7), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
