Usage Notes
* Do not mix components from different kit lots or use reagents beyond the kit expiration date.
* Allow all reagents to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before opening.
* Pre-rinse the pipet tip with reagent, use fresh pipet tips for each sample, standard and reagent to avoid contamination.
* Unused wells must be kept desiccated at 4 degree C in the sealed bag provided.
* Mix Thoroughly is very important for the result. It is recommended using low frequency oscillator or slight hand shaking every 10 minutes.
* It is recommended that all samples and standards be assayed in duplicate or triplicate.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 2-8 degree C.

Related Product Information for PRAMEF1 elisa kit
Description: This Human PRAME family member 1 (PRAMEF1) ELISA Kit employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate PRAMEF1 in samples. An antibody specific for PRAMEF1 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any PRAMEF1 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for PRAMEF1 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of PRAMEF1 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Background: PRAMEF1, Belongs to the PRAME family.Contains 2 LRR (leucine-rich) repeats.A leucine-rich repeat (LRR) is a protein structural motif that forms an alpha/beta horseshoe fold. It is composed of repeating 20-30 amino acid stretches that are unusually rich in the hydrophobic amino acid leucine. Typically, each repeat unit has beta strand-turn-alpha helix structure, and the assembled domain, composed of many such repeats, has a horseshoe shape with an interior parallel beta sheet and an exterior array of helices. One face of the beta sheet and one side of the helix array are exposed to solvent and are therefore dominated by hydrophilic residues. The region between the helices and sheets is the protein's hydrophobic core and is tightly sterically packed with leucine residues. Leucine-rich repeats are frequently involved in the formation of protein-protein interactions.

NCBI Description

This gene is a member of the PRAME (preferentially expressed antigen of melanoma) gene family which is expressed in many cancers but may function in reproductive tissues during development. Alternative promoter usage generates two transcript variants, which encode different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2014]

Uniprot Description

PRAMEF1: a member of the PRAME (preferentially expressed antigen of melanoma) gene family which is expressed in many cancers but may function in reproductive tissues during development. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2011]

Protein type: Unknown function

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 1p36.21

Biological Process: negative regulation of apoptosis; negative regulation of cell differentiation; negative regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; positive regulation of cell proliferation

Product Notes

The Human PRAMEF1 pramef1 (Catalog #AAA9714854) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9714854 ELISA Kit recognizes Human PRAMEF1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PRAME Family Member 1 (PRAMEF1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
