NCBI Description

This gene encodes a human guanine nucleotide exchange factor. It transduces signals from CRK by binding the SH3 domain of CRK, and activating several members of the Ras family of GTPases. This signaling cascade that may be involved in apoptosis, integrin-mediated signal transduction, and cell transformation. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but the full-length nature of some variants has not been determined. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes

The RapGEF1 rapgef1 (Catalog #AAA9612665) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Phospho-RapGEF1 (Tyr504) Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RapGEF1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Peptide ELISA (EIA). IHC: 1:50-1:200 Peptide ELISA: 1:20,000-1:40,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RapGEF1 rapgef1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RapGEF1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
