Related Product Information for anti-FBXL19 antibody
Members of the F-box protein family, such as FBXL19, are
characterized by an approximately 40-amino acid F-box motif. SCF
complexes, formed by SKP1 (MIM 601434), cullin (see CUL1; MIM
603134), and F-box proteins, act as protein-ubiquitin ligases.
F-box proteins interact with SKP1 through the F box, and they
interact with ubiquitination targets through other protein
interaction domains (Jin et al., 2004 [PubMed 15520277]).[supplied
by OMIM].

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a member of the Skp1-Cullin-F-box family of E3 ubiquitin ligases. The encoded protein is reported to bind to the transmembrane receptor interleukin 1 receptor-like 1 and regulate its ubiquitination and degradation. This protein has been linked to the regulation of pulmonary inflammation and psoriasis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2013]

Uniprot Description

FBXL19: Substrate-recognition component of the SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F- box protein)-type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Unknown function

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 16p11.2

Cellular Component: SCF ubiquitin ligase complex

Molecular Function: DNA binding; zinc ion binding

Biological Process: proteasomal ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process

Product Notes

The FBXL19 fbxl19 (Catalog #AAA9201354) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The immunogen sequence is 543-570. The FBXL19 Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human, mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FBXL19 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FBXL19 fbxl19 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FBXL19, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
