Cytochrome P450 14a-demethylase inhibitor 1g is an antifungal agent and an analog of fluconazole with an MIC80 of 0.25 ug/ml against Candida albicans. It exhibits higher activity against nearly all fungi tested except Aspergillus fumigates than ffluconazole . It shows higher activity than that of the other positive controls. Its MIC80 against Cryptococcus neoformans, Candida parapsilosis and Candida tropicalis and Trichophyton rubrum is 0.25 ug/ml. Its MIC80 is 62.5 ng/ml against Candida Krusei and Microsporum gypseum.
