Application Notes
FC: <= 0.5 ug/test

A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
Biological Significance
The 9D1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD150, an ~70 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein also known as Signaling Lymphocyte Activation Molecule. CD150 is expressed by T and B cells and its expression is rapidly upregulated on these cells upon activation. Immature thymocytes and dendritic cells also express this antigen. Signaling through SLAM in T cells induces proliferation and augmentation of the interferon-gamma response. Furthermore, SLAM is thought to play a role in adhesion between the T cell and antigen-presenting cell. 9D1 is reported to be an activating antibody.Mouse hematopoietic stem cells can be identified using SLAM family markers, such as CD150+CD244-CD48-. For this application we recommend the use of antibody clone mShad150.

Product Notes

The CD150 (Catalog #AAA832488) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD150 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). FC: <= 0.5 ug/test A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD150 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD150, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
