Quality Control
Oligonucleotide synthesis is monitored base by base through trityl analysis to ensure appropriate coupling efficiency. The oligo is subsequently purified by affinity-solid phase extraction. The annealed RNA duplex is further analyzed by mass spectrometry to verify the exact composition of the duplex. Each lot is compared to the previous lot by mass spectrometry to ensure maximum lot-to-lot consistency.
Directions for Use
We recommends transfection with 100 nM siRNA 48 to 72 hours prior to cell lysis. Before resuspending, briefly centrifuge the tube to ensure the lyophilized siRNA is at the bottom of the tube. Resuspend the siRNA oligos to an appropriate concentration with DEPC water. For each vial, suitable for 250 transfections in 24 well plate (20 pmol for each well).
Components
We offer pre-designed sets of 3 different target-specific siRNA oligo duplexes of mouse HINFP gene. Each vial contains 5 nmol of lyophilized siRNA. The duplexes can be transfected individually or pooled together to achieve knockdown of the target gene, which is most commonly assessed by qPCR or western blot. Our siRNA oligos are also chemically modified (2'-OMe) at no extra charge for increased stability and enhanced knockdown in vitro and in vivo.
Preparation and Storage
Shipped at 4 degree C. Store at -20 degree C for one year.

Uniprot Description

MIZF: a transcriptional regulator of cell cycle-controlled histone H4 genes at the onset of S phase. Also activates transcription of the ATM and PRKDC genes. A histone H4-specific transcriptional regulator that associates with the cell cycle control element in the conserved proximal promoter regions of H4 genes. Interacts with NPAT to coactivate H4 gene transcription at the G1/S phase transition in response to cyclin E/CDK2 signaling. HiNF-P/NPAT colocalize to Cajal bodies in a cell cycle-specific manner. Disruption of the HiNF-P/NPAT interaction inhibits histone H4 gene expression at G1/S. Binds methyl-CpG-binding protein (MeCP2) and a histone deacetylase complex.

Protein type: Histone-binding; C2H2-type zinc finger protein; Cell cycle regulation

Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; Cajal body; nucleus

Molecular Function: enzyme binding; DNA binding; nucleic acid binding; histone binding; metal ion binding; transcription coactivator activity; chromatin binding; transcription factor activity

Biological Process: transcription, DNA-dependent; in utero embryonic development; positive regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; negative regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; DNA repair; myoblast differentiation; G1/S-specific transcription in mitotic cell cycle; establishment of protein localization; regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; regulation of gene expression; DNA damage checkpoint; negative regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; G1/S transition of mitotic cell cycle

Product Notes

The HINFP hinfp (Catalog #AAA8211450) is a siRNA produced from Synthetic and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The HINFP siRNA (Mouse) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HINFP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, RNA Interference (RNAi). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HINFP hinfp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HINFP, siRNA" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
