Related Product Information for anti-CAMK4 antibody
Ca2+/ calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 4 (CAMKIV) belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family, and to the Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase subfamily which is widely recognized as an essential enzyme implicated in the phophoinositide amplification cascade. Ca2+/calmodulin dependent protein kinase (CAMK) can be activated by the introcellular increased Ca2+ and then apt to combine with the target protein. Ca2+/ calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 4 (CAMKIV) is a multifunctional CaM-dependent kinase protein with limited tissue distribution, that has been implicated in transcriptional regulation in lymphocytes, neurons and male germ cells. All of the isforms of this family, including myosin light chain kinase, phosphorylase kinase, CaMK1, CaMKI¢ and CaMKIV have EF-hand structure.

Product Notes

The CAMK4 camk4 (Catalog #AAA8112125) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CAMKIV Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CAMKIV can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:500-1:1000 ELISA: 1:25,000-1:50,000 IHC-P: 1:5000-1:50,000 IP: 0.2-1uL/mg of lysate. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CAMK4 camk4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CAMKIV, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
