Rabbit anti-Rat Ren1 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-Ren1 antibody
Ren1 Antibody
Preservative: 0.03% Proclin 300
Constituents: 50% Glycerol, 0.01M PBS, PH7.4
IHC: 1:100-1:500
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot Positive WB detected in: Rat Heart tissue, Rat Liver tissue All lanes: Ren1 antibody at 1:1000 Secondary Goat polyclonal to rabbit IgG at 1/50000 dilution Predicted band size: 45 kDa Observed band size: 45 kDa)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(IHC image diluted at 1:100 and staining in paraffin-embedded rat kidney tissue performed on a Leica BondTM system. After dewaxing and hydration, antigen retrieval was mediated by high pressure in a citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Section was blocked with 10% normal goat serum 30min at RT. Then primary antibody (1% BSA) was incubated at 4 degree C overnight. The primary is detected by a Goat anti-rabbit polymer IgG labeled by HRP and visualized using 0.05% DAB.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
catalyzes the cleavage of a Leu-Xaa bond in angiotensinogen to generate angiotensin [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
REN: Renin is a highly specific endopeptidase, whose only known function is to generate angiotensin I from angiotensinogen in the plasma, initiating a cascade of reactions that produce an elevation of blood pressure and increased sodium retention by the kidney. Interacts with ATP6AP2. Interaction with ATP6AP2 results in a 5-fold increased efficiency in angiotensinogen processing. Belongs to the peptidase A1 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Ren1 ren1 (Catalog #AAA7136164) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Ren1 Antibody reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Ren1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). WB: 1:1000-1:5000 IHC: 1:100-1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Ren1 ren1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ren1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
