Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of NAT2 Antibody (C-term) in mouse kidney tissue lysates (35ug/lane).NAT2 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of NAT2 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal NAT2 Antibody (C-term) . 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the NAT2 gene.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma with NAT2 Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometric analysis of HepG2 cells using NAT2 Antibody (C-term)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an enzyme that functions to both activate and deactivate arylamine and hydrazine drugs and carcinogens. Polymorphisms in this gene are responsible for the N-acetylation polymorphism in which human populations segregate into rapid, intermediate, and slow acetylator phenotypes. Polymorphisms in this gene are also associated with higher incidences of cancer and drug toxicity. A second arylamine N-acetyltransferase gene (NAT1) is located near this gene (NAT2). [provided by RefSeq]
Uniprot Description
NAT2: Participates in the detoxification of a plethora of hydrazine and arylamine drugs. Catalyzes the N- or O-acetylation of various arylamine and heterocyclic amine substrates and is able to bioactivate several known carcinogens. Belongs to the arylamine N-acetyltransferase family.

Product Notes
The NAT2 nat2 (Catalog #AAA626733) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The NAT2, CT (N-acetyltransferase Type 2, NAT-2, Arylamine N-acetyltransferase 2, Arylamide Acetylase 2, AAC2, Polymorphic Arylamine N-acetyltransferase, PNAT) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's NAT2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000 Western Blot: 1:100-1:500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NAT2 nat2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "NAT2, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
