Related Product Information for anti-Snap29 antibody
SNAP 25 (synaptosome-associated protein of 25kD) is a highly conserved protein anchored to the cytosolic face of membranes via palmitoyl side chains in the middle of the molecule. SNAP 25 is the target of Botulinum neurotoxin A and E which cleave off 9 and 26aas, respectively, from the C-terminus. The protein is part of the exocytotic fusion complex (v-SNARE) of neurons where it assembles with syntaxin 1 and synaptobrevin/VAMP. The protein is abundantly localized on the neuronal plasmalemma and on recycling vesicles including synaptic vesicles. It is also expressed in neuroendocrine cells.

Product Notes

The Snap29 snap29 (Catalog #AAA605805) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's SNAP 25, Total can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 stains fixed normal rat brain sections in cells known to express SNAP 25. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Snap29 snap29 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SNAP 25, Total, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
