Related Product Information for anti-cbpa1 antibody
CPA1 is an exopeptidase mainly produced by the pancreas. It cleaves the C-terminal amide or ester bond of peptides that have a free C-terminal carboxyl group. It prefers the C-terminal residues with aromatic or branched aliphatic side chains including Phe, Tyr, Trp, Leu or Ile. CPA1 is important in the degradation of food proteins to produce essential amino acids such as Phe and Trp. The amino acid sequence of human CPA1 is 88%, 82%, and 77% identical to that of dog, rat/mouse, and chicken, respectively.

Product Notes

The cbpa1 (Catalog #AAA604721) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Carboxypeptidase A1 (CPA1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Carboxypeptidase A1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Dilution: ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 25ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the cbpa1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Carboxypeptidase A1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
