Toxoplasma gondii is an obligateintracellular protozoan parasite, it has been knownassociating with severe congenital defects and lifethreatening infection in immunocompromised hosts. Inhuman, T. gondii infection in pregnant women can resultin congenital infection, such as late-onset eye disease, itis also a frequent cause of encephalitis in AIDS patients;in animal, the infection can cause a variety diseases andsymptoms.
