Mouse anti-Human alpha1-antitrypsin Monoclonal Antibody
mAb anti-Human alpha1-antitrypsin
background: alpha1-antitrypsin is a protective protease inhibitor. It inhibits elastase released by neutrolphils during inflammatory reaction and irreversibly inactivates trypsin secreted in duodenum and else where. alpha1-antitrypsin normally presents in plasma at 1.5-3.5 mg/mL, but increases in acute phase reaction, malignancies, pregnancy and trauma. Severe hereditary alpha1-antitrypsin deficiency can result in damages to alveoli, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and liver diseases such as jaundice and cirrhosis. The protein is also found in the neurofibrillary tangles and senile plaques in the brain lesions of Alzheimer's disease. Whether or not it contributes to the pathology of Alzheimer's disease is not confirmed.

Product Notes
The alpha1-antitrypsin (Catalog #AAA592340) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The mAb anti-Human alpha1-antitrypsin reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's alpha1-antitrypsin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Western Blot: Detect alpha1-antitrypsin (alpha1 AAT) using antibody 5G5 at 1:5000 dilution (0.2 mug/mL). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the alpha1-antitrypsin for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "alpha1-antitrypsin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
