Biological Significance
Human MHC Class II (HLA-DP, DQ & DR) molecules are expressed on dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages, and myeloid cells. MHC Class II molecules are heterodimers of polymorphic transmembrane alpha and beta chains and generally bind exogenously derived peptides of about 10-17 amino acids. MHC Class II molecules interact with the T cell receptor on CD4+ T cells.
Biohazard Information
This product contains sodium azide as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
Immunogen
MHC class II beta chain antibody (PE) was raised in mouse using purified class II from T cell line as the immunogen.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C.

Product Notes

The MODO-DAB1 (Catalog #AAA530024) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MHC Class II beta chain antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MHC Class II beta chain can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Western Blot (WB). FC: 5 ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MODO-DAB1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MHC Class II beta chain, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
