Mouse anti-Human CD37 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-CD37 antibody
Anti-CD37 [MB-1]
Immunofluorescence (IF)
(Immunofluorescence staining of Daudi cells using anti-CD6 (MBS488574) OX-126 Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed Daudi cells stained with the chimeric mouse IgG version of OX-126 () at 10ug/ml followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2ug/ml), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom , DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was stained with anti-unknown antibody (MBS488140) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(Flow cytometry using the Anti-CD37 antibody MB-1 (MBS488574). Paraformaldehyde fixed Daudi cells were stained with anti-unknown specificity antibody (MBS488140; isotype control, black line) or the mouse IgG1 version of MB-1 (, blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-mouse IgG AlexaFluor 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.)
BALB/c mice were immunized with lymph node cells from a patient with nodular poorly differentiated lymphocytic lymphoma. Immunophenotyping studies of these cells identified them as B cells expressing SIgG/lambda, as well as HLA-DR. Leu-12, and B1.
Note on publication: Describes the original use of this antibody to identify a novel B cell antigen (CD37)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
CD37: is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Most of these members are cell-surface proteins that are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains. The proteins mediate signal transduction events that play a role in the regulation of cell development, activation, growth and motility. This encoded protein is a cell surface glycoprotein that is known to complex with integrins and other transmembrane 4 superfamily proteins. It may play a role in T-cell-B-cell interactions. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Product Notes
The CD37 cd37 (Catalog #AAA488573) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD37 [MB-1] reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD37 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin (IHC-P). This antibody Recognizes human CD37, and has been used to identify and characterise the CD37 antigen in cell labelling, indirect immunofluorescence and IP analysis (Link, 1986). In particular, the use of this antibody to label malignant B cells indicates that expression of CD37 occurs relatively late in B cell maturation, as it is not expressed on "immature" B lineage lymphoid neoplasms. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD37 cd37 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD37, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
