Na+/K+ ATPase beta3 M020 Antibody
ICC: 1:50
IP: 1:50
WB: 1:1000
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot using native conditions to examinenM0161 immunoprecipitates (IP) and whole lysates. ThenM0161 antibody only (lane 1), IP from A431 cell lysate (lane 2), A431 cell input (lane 3), The blot was probed with anti-Na+/K+ ATPase beta3nM0161 (lanes 1-3) and anti-Na+/K+ ATPase beta3nM0201 (lanes 4-6). The arrow designates native antibody, while the beta3 subunit migrates around 40kDa.)
Immunocytochemistry (ICC)
(Immunocytochemical labeling of Na+/K+ ATPase beta3 in paraformaldehyde fixed human A549 cells. The cells were labeled with mouse monoclonal anti-Na+/K+ ATPase beta3 (clone M020). The antibody was detected using goat anti-mouse Ig DyLight 594.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the family of Na+/K+ and H+/K+ ATPases beta chain proteins, and to the subfamily of Na+/K+ -ATPases. Na+/K+ -ATPase is an integral membrane protein responsible for establishing and maintaining the electrochemical gradients of Na and K ions across the plasma membrane. These gradients are essential for osmoregulation, for sodium-coupled transport of a variety of organic and inorganic molecules, and for electrical excitability of nerve and muscle. This enzyme is composed of two subunits, a large catalytic subunit (alpha) and a smaller glycoprotein subunit (beta). The beta subunit regulates, through assembly of alpha/beta heterodimers, the number of sodium pumps transported to the plasma membrane. The glycoprotein subunit of Na+/K+ -ATPase is encoded by multiple genes. This gene encodes a beta 3 subunit. This gene encodes a beta 3 subunit. A pseudogene exists for this gene, and it is located on chromosome 2. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
ATP1B3: This is the non-catalytic component of the active enzyme, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the exchange of Na(+) and K(+) ions across the plasma membrane. The exact function of the beta-3 subunit is not known. Belongs to the X(+)/potassium ATPases subunit beta family.

The Na+/K+ ATPase beta3 M020 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Na+/K+ ATPase beta3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunoprecipitation (IP). ELISA: 1:2000 ICC: 1:50 IP: 1:50 WB: 1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATP1B3 atp1b3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Na+/K+ ATPase beta3, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
