WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 dilution
The addition of 0.05% Tween 20 in the blocking buffer and primary antibody incubation buffer is recommended to aid in detection by Western blot.
Background: Rsf-1 (Remodeling and spacing factor 1) is a member of RSF complex. This complex consists of two subunits: Rsf-1 and SNF2H. RSF possesses a chromatin remodeling activity and a chromatin assembly activity. Rsf-1 assembles the nucleosomes randomly with its histone chaperone activity. The resulting nucleosomes are then redistributed by the ATP-utilizing nucleosome mobilization factor SNF2H into a periodic array. Rsf-1 can be involved in transcriptional repression when it is recruited to DNA via the DNA binding of Gal4 or in transcriptional coactivation when associated with hepatitis B virus pX protein (HBX). In response to hepatitis B infection, Rsf-1 can bind to the viral transcription activator pX, which then coactivates the transcription factor NFkB, thus supporting the life cycle of the viral genome. Additionally, Rsf-1 is thought to be a potent oncogene, with elevated expression observed in ovarian carcinomas.

Product Notes
The Rsf1 (Catalog #AAA388498) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rsf1 antibody (pAb) reacts with Drosophila and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Rsf1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Applications Validated: WB: 1:1,000-1:5,000 dilution The addition of 0.05% Tween 20 in the blocking buffer and primary antibody incubation buffer is recommended to aid in detection by Western blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Rsf1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Rsf1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
