Related Product Information for anti-STK39 antibody
This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against STK39. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.

Target Description: STK39 is a serine/threonine kinase that is thought to function in the cellular stress response pathway. The kinase is activated in response to hypotonic stress, leading to phosphorylation of several cation-chloride-coupled cotransporters. The catalytically active kinase specifically activates the p38 MAP kinase pathway, and its interaction with p38 decreases upon cellular stress, suggesting that this kinase may serve as an intermediate in the response to cellular stress.

Uniprot Description

STLK3: May act as a mediator of stress-activated signals. The phosphorylated form forms a complex with WNK2. Predominantly expressed in brain and pancreas followed by heart, lung, kidney, skeletal muscle, liver, placenta and testis. Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. STE Ser/Thr protein kinase family. STE20 subfamily.

Product Notes

The STK39 stk39 (Catalog #AAA3209149) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The STK39 antibody - N-terminal region reacts with Cow, Dog, Guinea Pig, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat, Zebrafish and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's STK39 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the STK39 stk39 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Synthetic peptide located within the following region: KYIVNRGEHK NGVLEEAIIA TILKEVLEGL DYLHRNGQIH RDLKAGNILL. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "STK39, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
