Human FOXO2 ELISA Kit | FOXO2 elisa kit
Human FOXO2 (Forkhead Box Protein O2) ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to FOXO2. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for FOXO2 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain FOXO2, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of FOXO2. You can calculate the concentration of FOXO2 in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which are characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. This gene likely functions as a trigger for apoptosis through expression of genes necessary for cell death. Translocation of this gene with the MLL gene is associated with secondary acute leukemia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been observed. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
FOXO3A: a transcription factors of the forkhead family. Contains 1 fork-head domain. May regulate apoptosis through control of genes necessary for cell death. Translocation of this gene with the MLL gene is associated with secondary acute leukemia.

Product Notes
The Human FOXO2 foxo3 (Catalog #AAA2501595) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2501595 ELISA Kit recognizes Human FOXO2. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FOXO2, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
