KHDC3L Antibody, HYDM2 Antibody, C6orf221 Antibody Description: The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the KHDC1 family, members of which contain an atypical KH domain that may not bind RNA like canonical KH domains. This gene is specifically expressed in the oocytes, and recent studies suggest that it may function as a regulator of genomic imprinting in the oocyte. Mutations in this gene are associated with recurrent biparental complete hydatidiform mole.

Uniprot Description

KHDC3L: Defects in KHDC3L are the cause of hydatidiform mole recurrent type 2 (HYDM2). A disorder characterized by excessive trophoblast development that produces a growing mass of tissue inside the uterus at the beginning of a pregnancy. It leads to abnormal pregnancies with no embryo, and cystic degeneration of the chorionic villi. Belongs to the KHDC1 family.

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 6q13

Product Notes

The KHDC3L / ECAT1 khdc3l (Catalog #AAA2400099) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-KHDC3L / ECAT1 Antibody (aa20-48) IHC-plus reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's KHDC3L / ECAT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Flow Cytometry (1:10 - 1:50) IHC-P (1:100) WB (1:1000). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the KHDC3L / ECAT1 khdc3l for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "KHDC3L / ECAT1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
