Preparation and Storage
Storage: Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Store at 4ºC for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20ºC for 12 months.

Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

NCBI Description

This gene was identified due to its downregulation in hepatocarcinomas. The encoded protein may be involved in liver development and function. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2016]

Uniprot Description

LZP: a liver-specific protein possibly involved in hepatocellular function and development. Contains 3 epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domains and a ZP domain. Human LZP is expressed specifically in liver out of 23 tissues examined, and its mouse counterpart was detected at very early stage during embryo development.

Product Notes

The OIT3 oit3 (Catalog #AAA2028378) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Oncoprotein Induced Transcript 3 (OIT3) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Oncoprotein Induced Transcript 3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB; IHC; ICC; IP. Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/mL;1:250-1000 Immunohistochemistry: 5-20ug/mL;1:25-100 Immunocytochemistry: 5-20ug/mL;1:25-100 Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the OIT3 oit3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Oncoprotein Induced Transcript 3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
