Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for ADCYAP1 elisa kit
This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. A monoclonal antibody specific to Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 1, Pituitary (ADCYAP1) has been pre-coated onto a microplate. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 1, Pituitary (ADCYAP1) and unlabeled Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 1, Pituitary (ADCYAP1) (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 1, Pituitary (ADCYAP1). After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 1, Pituitary (ADCYAP1) in the sample. After addition of the substrate solution, the intensity of color developed is reverse proportional to the concentration of Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 1, Pituitary (ADCYAP1) in the sample.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes a secreted proprotein that is further processed into multiple mature peptides. These peptides stimulate adenylate cyclase and increase cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels, resulting in the transcriptional activation of target genes. The products of this gene are key mediators of neuroendocrine stress responses. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2013]

Product Notes

The Human ADCYAP1 adcyap1 (Catalog #AAA2019088) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2019088 ELISA Kit recognizes Human ADCYAP1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide 1, Pituitary (ADCYAP1), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
