E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRIM63 (Trim63) Recombinant Protein | Trim63 recombinant protein
Recombinant Rat E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRIM63 (Trim63)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
ubiquitin ligase that is upregulated in models of muscle atrophy; may facilitate protein degradation and skeletal muscle atrophy [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
E3 ubiquitin ligase. Mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of CKM, GMEB1 and HIBADH. Regulates the proteasomal degradation of muscle proteins under amino acid starvation, where muscle protein is catabolized to provide other organs with amino acids. Inhibits de novo skeletal muscle protein synthesis under amino acid starvation. Regulates proteasomal degradation of cardiac troponin I/TNNI3 and probably of other sarcomeric-associated proteins. May play a role in striated muscle atrophy and hypertrophy by regulating an anti-hypertrophic PKC-mediated signaling pathway. May regulate the organization of myofibrils through TTN in muscle cells.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRIM63 (Trim63), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
