A DNA sequence encoding the human YWHAH (Q04917)(Gly 2-Asn 246) was fused with the GST tag at the N-terminus.
Reconstitution
A hardcopy of COA with reconstitution instruction is sent along with the products. Please refer to it for detailed information.
Preparation and Storage
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. Store it under sterile conditions at -20 degree C to -80 degree C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature. Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid.
They are shipped out with blue ice.

Related Product Information for YWHAH recombinant protein
Background: YWHAH, the gene encoding the 14-3-3eta isoform, is highly expressed in retinal ganglion cells (RGC). YWHAH is a positional and functional candidate gene for both schizophrenia and bipolar disorder (BP). It is located on chromosome 22q12.3, a region that has been implicated by linkage studies in both BP and schizophrenia.

NCBI Description

This gene product belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 99% identical to the mouse, rat and bovine orthologs. This gene contains a 7 bp repeat sequence in its 5' UTR, and changes in the number of this repeat have been associated with early-onset schizophrenia and psychotic bipolar disorder. Product Notes

The YWHAH ywhah (Catalog #AAA8120520) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The amino acid sequence is listed below: Gly2-Asn24 6. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "14-3-3 eta/YWHAH, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
