NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is thought to be part of a large multi-subunit complex involved in the targeting and fusion of endoplasmic reticulum-to-Golgi transport vesicles with their acceptor compartment. In addition, the encoded protein can bind c-myc promoter-binding protein 1 and block its transcriptional repression capability. Mutations in this gene are a cause of spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia tarda (SEDT). A processed pseudogene of this gene is located on chromosome 19, and other pseudogenes are found on chromosomes 8 and Y. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene. Uniprot Description
Prevents transcriptional repression and induction of cell death by ENO1 (). May play a role in vesicular transport from endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi.

Product Notes
The TRAPPC2 trappc2 (Catalog #AAA205187) is a Recombinant Protein produced from E Coli and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The tag for this protein is His-tag. AAA Biotech's TRAPPC2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, SDS-PAGE. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TRAPPC2 trappc2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The amino acid sequence is listed below: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MGSMSGSFYF VIVGHHDNPV FEMEFLPAGK AESKDDHRHL NQFIAHAALD LVDENMWLSN NMYLKTVDKF NEWFVSAFVT AGHMRFIMLH DIRQEDGIKN FFTDVYDLYI KFSMNPFYEP NSPIRSSAFD RKVQFLGKKH LLS. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TRAPPC2, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
