Related Product Information for TNF-IP1 blocking peptide
TNFalpha-IP 1 (tumor necrosis factor, alpha-induced protein 1, endothelial), also known as B12, B61, EDP1 or TNFAIP1, is a BTB/POZ domain-containing protein that belongs to the KCTD10/KCTD13/TNFAIP1 family. TNFalpha-IP 1 contains one BTB/POZ motif, which is known to mediate homomeric and heteromeric POZ-POZ interactions and is common to transcriptional regulators involved in chromatin modeling. The expression of TNFalpha-IP 1 can be induced by IL-6 and by TNFalpha in the umbilical vein of endothelial cells. TNFalpha-IP 1 may be involved in DNA repair, DNA synthesis, cell apoptosis and human diseases. TNFalpha-IP 1 is suggested to play a role in the process of cancer and in the innate immunity against the Hepatitis B virus.

Uniprot Description

TNFAIP1: Substrate-specific adapter of a BCR (BTB-CUL3-RBX1) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex involved in regulation of cytoskeleton structure. The BCR(BACURD2) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex mediates the ubiquitination of RHOA, leading to its degradation by the proteasome, thereby regulating the actin cytoskeleton and cell migration. Its interaction with RHOB may regulate apoptosis. May enhance the PCNA-dependent DNA polymerase delta activity. Belongs to the BACURD family.

Protein type: DNA replication; Ubiquitin conjugating system

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 17q22-q23

Cellular Component: cytoplasm; nucleolus; endosome

Product Notes

The TNF-IP1 tnfaip1 (Catalog #AAA3002685) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's TNF-IP 1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Blocking. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TNF-IP1 tnfaip1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TNF-IP 1, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
