ASH1L sirna
ASH1L siRNA (Mouse)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
ASH1L: a protein methyltransferase that specifically methylates K36 of histone H3 (H3K36me). A member of the trithorax group (trxG) of transcriptional activators that is required for proper expression of Hox genes and is preferentially expressed in haematopoietic stem cells. Widely expressed, with high levels in brain, heart and kidney. The protein contains four AT hooks, a SET domain, a PHD-finger motif, and a bromodomain. It is localized to many small speckles in the nucleus, and also to cell-cell tight junctions.
Protein type: EC 2.1.1.43; Methyltransferase, protein lysine; Amino Acid Metabolism - lysine degradation; Cell adhesion; Methyltransferase
Cellular Component: nucleoplasm; Golgi apparatus; tight junction; cytoplasm; chromosome; nucleus; cell junction
Molecular Function: transferase activity; methyltransferase activity; DNA binding; zinc ion binding; histone lysine N-methyltransferase activity (H3-K4 specific); metal ion binding; chromatin binding; histone-lysine N-methyltransferase activity
Biological Process: methylation; transcription, DNA-dependent; regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent; negative regulation of MAPKKK cascade; interleukin-6 production; negative regulation of inflammatory response; histone H3-K4 methylation; negative regulation of acute inflammatory response; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; chromatin modification; negative regulation of I-kappaB kinase/NF-kappaB cascade; peptidyl-lysine methylation

Product Notes
The ASH1L ash1l (Catalog #AAA8224962) is a siRNA produced from Synthetic and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ASH1L siRNA (Mouse) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ASH1L can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, RNA Interference (RNAi). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ASH1L ash1l for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ASH1L, siRNA" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
