S100A2 may act as a modulator against excess calcium accumulation in normal human mammary epithelial cells and also play a role in suppressing tumor cell growth. Recombinant human S100A2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
