Rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 13 (FGF13) ELISA Kit | FGF13 elisa kit
Rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 13 (FGF13) Mini Samples ELISA Kit
Principle of the Assay: The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to FGF13. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microplate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to FGF13. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain FGF13, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of FGF13 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Uniprot Description
FGF13: Microtubule-binding protein which directly binds tubulin and is involved in both polymerization and stabilization of microtubules. Through its action on microtubules, may participate to the refinement of axons by negatively regulating axonal and leading processes branching. Plays a crucial role in neuron polarization and migration in the cerebral cortex and the hippocampus. Belongs to the heparin-binding growth factors family. 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Rat FGF13 fgf13 (Catalog #AAA2088023) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2088023 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat FGF13. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Fibroblast Growth Factor 13 (FGF13), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
