Related Product Information for ADORA2b elisa kit
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the invitro quantitative determination of RatADORA2bconcentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to ADORA2b. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for ADORA2band Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain ADORA2b, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of ADORA2b.You can calculate the concentration of ADORA2bin the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This gene encodes an adenosine receptor that is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. This integral membrane protein stimulates adenylate cyclase activity in the presence of adenosine. This protein also interacts with netrin-1, which is involved in axon elongation. The gene is located near the Smith-Magenis syndrome region on chromosome 17. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

ADORA2B: Receptor for adenosine. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Product Notes

The Rat ADORA2b adora2b (Catalog #AAA2515926) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2515926 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat ADORA2b. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ADORA2b, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
