Related Product Information for PPP3R1 recombinant protein
Description: PPP3R1 produced in E Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 190 amino acids (1-170.a.a) and having a molecular mass of 21.5kDa. PPP3R1 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction: PPP3R1 is a Ser/Thr-specific calcium and calmodulin-dependent protein phosphatase which takes a vital part in the T cell activation pathway. Calcineurin is composed of two subunits; calcineurin A (CnA) and calcineurin B (CnB). Dephosphorylation of the nuclear factor of activated T-cells (NF-AT) by Calcineurin is essential for NF-AT activation, nuclear translocation, and early gene expression in T-cells.

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phosphatase 3, Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
