Uniprot Description

ZRANB3: DNA annealing helicase and endonuclease required to maintain genome stability at stalled or collapsed replication forks by facilitating fork restart and limiting inappropriate recombination that could occur during template switching events. Recruited to the sites of stalled DNA replication by polyubiquitinated PCNA and acts as a structure-specific endonuclease that cleaves the replication fork D-loop intermediate, generating an accessible 3'-OH group in the template of the leading strand, which is amenable to extension by DNA polymerase. In addition to endonuclease activity, also catalyzes the fork regression via annealing helicase activity in order to prevent disintegration of the replication fork and the formation of double-strand breaks. Belongs to the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family. 5 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes

The ZRANB3 zranb3 (Catalog #AAA9129911) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ZRANB3 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ZRANB3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF). WB: 1:200 - 1:2000, IF: 1:20 - 1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ZRANB3 zranb3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ZRANB3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
