Related Product Information for anti-ZCCHC3 antibody
Nucleic acid-binding protein involved in innate immune response to DNA and RNA viruses (PubMed:30193849, PubMed:30135424). Binds DNA and RNA in the cytoplasm and acts by promoting recognition of viral nucleic acids by virus sensors, such as DDX58/RIG-I, IFIH1/MDA5 and CGAS (PubMed:30193849, PubMed:30135424). Acts as a co-sensor for recognition of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) by cGAS in the cytoplasm, thereby playing a role in innate immune response to cytosolic dsDNA and DNA virus (PubMed:30135424). Binds dsDNA and probably acts by promoting sensing of dsDNA by CGAS, leading to enhance CGAS oligomerization and activation (PubMed:30135424). Promotes sensing of viral RNA by RIG-I-like receptors proteins DDX58/RIG-I and IFIH1/MDA5 via two mechanisms: binds double-stranded RNA (dsRNA), enhancing the binding of DDX58/RIG-I and IFIH1/MDA5 to dsRNA and promotes 'Lys-63'-linked ubiquitination and subsequent activation of DDX58/RIG-I and IFIH1/MDA5.

Product Notes

The ZCCHC3 zcchc3 (Catalog #AAA2565919) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ZCCHC3 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ZCCHC3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF). IF: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ZCCHC3 zcchc3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ZCCHC3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
