Host
Rabbit
Reactivity
Chicken
Clonality
Polyclonal
Isotype
IgG
Specificity
Reacts with the chicken Wnt6 protein. On Western blots, it identifies a band at ~35kD and one at ~45kD. The two bands may represent different isoforms or post-translational modification states. Immunohistochemical and immunofluoresent staining using this antibody is observed in non-neural ectoderm of chick embryos from stages 8 to 14, consistent with the reported expression of Wnt6 mRNA as determined by in situ hybridization. Additional staining is found in ectodermal tissues caudal to the otic level in heart-and gut-forming regions. Reactivity has been confirmed with stage 8-20 chicken embryo homogenates.
Purity/Purification
Epitope-affinity purified from rabbit antiserum.
Form/Format
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. No preservatives added. Labeled with Alkaline Phosphatase (AP).
Applicable Applications for anti-Wnt6 antibody
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Frozen, Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes
IHC-F: 2-3ug/ml
IF: 2-3ug/ml
WB: 1-3ug/ml
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of the chicken Wnt6 protein.
Conjugate
AP
Note
Preservative Free
Preparation and Storage
Store product at 4 degree C. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.

Product Notes

The Wnt6 (Catalog #AAA6506224) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Wnt6 (Wingless-type MMTV (Mouse Mammary Tumor Virus) Integration Site Family, Member 6 (Wnt6) (AP) reacts with Chicken and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Wnt6 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Frozen, Immunofluorescence (IF), Western Blot (WB). IHC-F: 2-3ug/ml IF: 2-3ug/ml WB: 1-3ug/ml Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Wnt6 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Wnt6, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
