NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
WDYHV1: Mediates the side-chain deamidation of N-terminal glutamine residues to glutamate, an important step in N-end rule pathway of protein degradation. Conversion of the resulting N- terminal glutamine to glutamate renders the protein susceptible to arginylation, polyubiquitination and degradation as specified by the N-end rule. Does not act on substrates with internal or C- terminal glutamine and does not act on non-glutamine residues in any position. Does not deaminate acetylated N-terminal glutamine. With the exception of proline, all tested second-position residues on substrate peptides do not greatly influence the activity. In contrast, a proline at position 2, virtually abolishes deamidation of N-terminal glutamine. Belongs to the NTAQ1 family.

Product Notes
The WDYHV1 wdyhv1 (Catalog #AAA1497844) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The WDYHV1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's WDYHV1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). Recommended dilution: WB:1:500-2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the WDYHV1 wdyhv1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "WDYHV1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
